As a first time owner of the Stuhrling Original Men’s “Cuvette 44″, I absolutely love it! I like the comfortable feel on my wrist. It’s not heavy, but made very solid. The look and feel is of skillful craftsmanship. My first impression is that it is a watch with great quality but not flashy. It definitely is a watch with class. I can’t respond to the accuracy and longevity because it is new but after reading through the material/information it appears the company takes great pride in it’s product and wants the customer to be 100% satisfied.

I bought this watch for my fiance for Christmas. He likes really nice watches like tag and movado but bulova was offering the copper face which he saw previously in a magazine and commented on. The watch is even more beautiful in person. A super neat feature is that when you look under the watch on the part against the wrist you can see all inside of it at the actual workings of it. He wears this watch every day. It is a nice size and is stunning on. He LOVES it. As far as the quaility, well, it’s a bulova. It should work just fine.

Bottom line is everyone knows malls are a high priced convenience option but they can be helpful for “hands on” when looking at something a personal as a watch. If we didn’t go to our local mall and my wife didn’t get to actually try on all the various styles, brands and compare how it looked/felt on her wrist I don’t think shopping online would be the smartest move. However, my wife fell in love with this particular watch while window shopping so I knew it was a safe bet.

Tissot is a decent watch from an old reliable company. Although I believe they were purchased long ago by the SWATCH company, their quality seems to have remained up to par. I’ve owned an excellent time piece that was given to me as a birthday gift more than a decade ago and have never once had a problem with it. It is understated and handsome as well as quite accurate; I get more than my share of compliments.

I suspect this watch will continue in that vein. Elegant looking but still simple enough to wear everyday, the watch is surprisingly light and yet quite sturdy. Although the clasp takes a bit of getting used to at first, once mastered it’s a piece of cake. Really nice watch for the AMAZON price. Our Mall wanted the MSRP of 5 + tax, etc. That brought the cost to 9.10 if we wanted it right then and there. Luckily I am blessed with a woman of patience so I was able to go home and find the EXACT watch here at AMAZON for a delivered, GIFT WRAPPED cost to my door (with 3 day select delivery for Valentines day, no less) for $ 201.48 ~
So, if you do your homework and compare like items of similar quality I don’t believe that you will be disappointed.
